Short version: PrivatePDF creates and stores PDFs entirely on your device. We do not collect, receive, transmit, sell, rent, or share data through the app.
None. PrivatePDF has no account system, analytics, advertising, tracking technology, or developer-operated server.
Images you select, pages you scan, and PDFs you create are processed locally. Generated PDFs and titles remain inside the app's private container and are not accessible to us.
Camera access is requested only if you choose Scan Documents. Choosing images from Photos uses Apple's system photo picker, and you control which items are available to the app.
A PDF is shared only when you choose Share. The destination you select through Apple's share sheet processes it under that destination's own terms and privacy policy.
PDFs remain on your device until you delete them in PrivatePDF or remove the app. Removing the app deletes its local documents and metadata. The app excludes its document library from device backup.
PrivatePDF does not knowingly collect personal data from anyone, including children.
PrivatePDF relies on iOS application sandboxing and data protection. Protect your device with a passcode and keep iOS up to date.
If data practices change, this policy and the App Store disclosure will be updated, with a revised effective date.
